 Turbine Details :

Steam Turbine Generator (STG) & Auxiliaries System:

The STG shall be single / dual / triple pressure, non-reheat or reheat design. The steam turbine shall be located indoors.

The STG is sized to match the maximum steam output from HRSG. The turbine is straight condensing turbine (axial exhaust) with provision of L.P. steam injection into an intermediate stage. The H.P. and L.P. steam entry into the turbine will be through respective emergency stop and control valves. The turbine will normally operate on sliding pressure mode following GT Load.

The speed and load of the STG is governed through a set of emergency stop and control valves. All standard auxiliary systems such as lube oil, control oil, jacking oil, governor, generator protection, gland-sealing system, drains systems are provided for STG.

During the normal operation the lube oil system shall be sullied by a gear type main oil pump, which is driven via a gear train by the turbine shaft, located in front of the bearing pedestal. During run-up, shut down and turning gear operation, the main oil pump is assisted by the auxiliary lube oil pump with a.c. motor drive. If the a.c. pump fails, the emergency oil pump (d.c. motor driven) takes over the cooling and lubrication of the turbine bearings enabling the turbine to run down safely.

The lube oil is passed through one of the 2x100% coolers and one of the 2x100% lube oil filters fitted with flow change over valves.
